Moa is a patent consultant in the HighTech team and she specializes in inventions that merge the HighTech and Life Science fields. Moa joined HØIBERG in 2025 with an interdisciplinary background in physics, biomedical engineering, and cognitive neuroscience.
Moa has experience in various types of patent related counselling, including, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, patentability assessments and Freedom-to-operate analyses.
Moa has a MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a PhD degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Karolinska Institutet. Her PhD work focused on MRI-based assessments of neuroplasticity associated with sensory deprivation.
Prior to joining HØIBERG, Moa worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet and with scientific, regulatory and patent related assessments at a life science startup.
