Clara counsels as a patent consultant in our Life Science team, working from the Copenhagen and the Lund offices. She joined HØIBERG in 2026 and brings a strong scientific foundation in molecular biology and cancer biology.
Clara has experience in various types of patent related counselling, including, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, patentability assessments and Freedom-to-operate analyses.
During her doctoral studies at Lund University, Clara focused on the tumor microenvironment, particularly brain cancer and pericytes, using orthotopic mouse models, single-cell RNA sequencing, and multiplex immunohistochemistry.
Following her PhD, Clara spent three years as a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow at the University of Copenhagen, where she investigated a distinct subset of macrophages in glioblastoma. Her work integrated patient-derived brain tumor samples into mouse models, and she established an infrastructure for stereotactic injections, encompassing both the experimental framework and the associated requirements under animal research legislation.
With more than 13 years of experience in molecular and translational cancer biology, Clara has worked extensively with both in vitro and in vivo methodologies, including advanced stereotactic brain injections, single-cell transcriptomics, immunostainings, cell based assays, confocal microscopy, and flow cytometry.
