Esmeray counsels in all areas of mechanical engineering, in particular process technology, 3D printing, mechanics and material science.

Esmeray joined HØIBERG in 2020 and has expertise within production technologies, 3D printing, digital twin, process monitoring, tribology and material testing & characterization.

She holds an MSc degree in Manufacturing Technologies from the TU Dortmund University as 1st ranked graduate and has attained further expertise through a research stay at Gifu University in Japan and wrote her master thesis at Bmax in France on magnetic pulse systems for metal forming and welding.

She holds a PhD from the Technical University of Denmark. During her degree, she worked with industrial partners, primarily with Grundfos A/S and visited University of Lisbon in Portugal and The Ohio State University in the US as a visiting scholar. She developed a number of numerical and experimental platform for evaluating digital twins in a number of production platforms.

After completing her PhD, Esmeray is employed as an External Consultant by IPU to model and solve complex engineering problems in process technology and mechanics. At the same time, Esmeray continued her research as Post-doc at DTU on Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) techniques in close collaboration with industrial partners such as LEGO A/S, GN-ReSound for integrating and automatizing hybrid process chain of additively manufactured tooling in industrial applications.
