Kristian counsels on patents, including drafting and prosecution of patent applications and oppositions, patentability analyses, freedom-to-operate analyses, infringements and validity of patents. He specializes in patent related matters in the fields of electronics, telecommunication, software, digital signal processing and medical technology. He also works with valuation of patents and patent portfolios and is a Certified Patent Valuation Analyst.

He has technical experience from various R&D positions in large international companies in the telecommunication and semiconductor industry.

In the beginning of the 2000s Kristian was an exchange student at Institut de l’Ingénieur de Montpellier, specialized in microelectronics, and was then employed in France in a large international manufacturer of semiconductors where he worked in the R&D department with microprocessors, signal processing and integrated circuits, as well as embedded test systems. 

He has experience from working with ultra-low power integrated circuits and digital signal processing for hearing aids. 

He has also worked for a number of years as a technical specialist for a licensor of IP to the mobile phone industry. In this position he worked with embedded software development for LTE (4G) technology. He also has detailed knowledge about 3GPP wireless communication standards.
