Trine counsels in areas of chemistry and specialises in the cross-disciplinary field of electrochemistry, inorganic- and organic chemistry, material development, porous materials and material processing and shaping.

Trine has a background in applied research within renewable energy technology, and has primarily worked with electrochemical devices such as fuel cells and electrolysis cells at DTU Energy Conversion. From this, Trine has obtained specific experience with manufacture and shaping of suspensions containing inorganic-, organic materials and polymers; material characterisation including microstructural analyses, porosity, and mechanical strength; and electrical- and electrochemical tests with focus on developing electrodes containing nano particles.

Trine has been involved in several collaboration projects between university and industry during her R&D work. She holds an Industrial PhD in solid oxide fuel cells carried out in collaboration with Haldor Topsøe A/S, Topsoe Fuel Cell A/S, Risø National Laboratory and DTU, and a MSc in geology from Aarhus University.

Trine joined HØIBERG in 2014.
