Louise counsels (as a European Patent Attorney) within all areas of Life Science including biotech, pharma, food technology and green tech.
Louise joined HØIBERG in 2001, and has been working with IP since. Louise qualified as EPA in 2004 and became partner the same year. Louise is also a respected tutor and speaker at IPR courses and patent conferences at home and abroad. Louise has a background in biochemistry and epigenetics.

Louise has wide experience in all types of patent related matters, including overall tasks such as formulation of patent strategies to more specific tasks such as drafting and prosecuting patent applications, patentability assessment, oppositions, assessment of patent portfolios and freedom-to-operate analyses and assisting in connection with court cases and license agreements. Her client portfolio varies from small start-ups and universities to large international companies.

Louise has research experience within the fields of cancer reasearch and epigenetics. She graduated as MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen and subsequently obtained a PhD in Genetics from the University of Vienna.
