Som patentadministrator får du en vigtig koordinerende rolle og bidrager til, at vi kommer i mål med vores opgaver til tiden. Dine arbejdsopgaver er afvekslende med fokus på administrativ sagsbehandling af patentansøgninger og korrespondance med patentmyndigheder, kunder og samarbejdspartnere verden over. Du arbejder tæt sammen med vores patentrådgivere og resten af administratorteamet med fokus på sikre høj kvalitet i vores arbejde, så vores kunder føler sig trygge.

Du er selvstændig, proaktiv og serviceminded og har altid kundens behov i centrum. Du sætter en ære i, at der er styr på detaljerne, men kan samtidig holde det kølige overblik og prioritere dine opgaver i en dagligdag, hvor tingene til tider går stærkt. Du trives med at være ’sidste led’, der samler trådene, men du tænker også ud af boksen og har mod på at udfordre nuværende systemer og arbejdsgange. Derudover har du flair og interesse for IT. Vi kommunikerer primært på engelsk, og det er derfor vigtigt, at du har et højt sprogligt niveau og sætter pris på god og korrekt kommunikation. Da vi også vokser på det svenske marked, vil det være et plus, hvis du også mestrer svensk.

Du er enten nyuddannet med en kandidat inden for sprog, kommunikation, humaniora eller lignende, har få års erfaring på arbejdsmarkedet – gerne fra en koordinerende stilling, eller du er erfaren patentadministrator. Hvis du ikke allerede har Qualified Intellectual Property Administrator uddannelsen, forventer vi, at du i løbet af de første 1-5 år gennemfører den. Er du ny i patentbranchen, skal du være forberedt på et job med en stejl indlæringskurve og masser af udfordringer.

PATENT ATTORNEYS / Trainees – Life Science / Chemistry

We are expanding our business. Consequently, we are recruiting talented, ambitious patent attorneys or patent attorney trainees equipped with a good sense for business and commercialization of R&D to our office in Copenhagen.

Being a patent attorney requires a high intellectual capacity and excellent analytical skills. We appreciate minds that are equipped with a curiosity for science and technology even outside your core area of expertise.

You preferably have a PhD in, for example, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, food science, molecular biomedicine, biotech engineering or molecular biology. If you don’t, please make your case as to why you would be a good fit without one!

Your duties will include drafting and prosecution of patent applications, analysis of patentability, assessment of infringement and validity of patents, strategic IP counselling as well as assistance with licensing agreements, IP due diligence, litigation, etc.

You are a skilled communicator and aim to provide excellent and accurate service to your clients. You speak and write English fluently, and proficiency in Danish is a merit. You master the spectra from detail to the big picture. Protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights can be a lengthy process that requires both quick action and great patience. We expect you to be ready to defend our clients’ rights with the same passion as if the idea was your own.

In the absence of prior experience with patents, you will be offered a comprehensive training program during the initial 3-5 years leading to the degree of European Patent Attorney (EPA). A part of the training is conducted within the framework of your daily work, but you will also need to allocate a part of your private time to patent training during the coming years. Depending on your language capabilities and experience, you may expect to be involved in staffing our offices/representations in Aarhus, Lund, and Malmö.
