HØIBERG is delighted to announce the opening of its Stockholm office in AWL-Innomedicum on Nanna Svartz väg 2 on Karolinska Institutet campus.
HØIBERG was founded in 1995 and has offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Malmö and Lund, and the establishment of the Stockholm office is a natural next step to serve our growing Swedish client base.
The new office will provide a local platform for further growth in the Stockholm region and the possibility to provide our services in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) through local presence.
A team consisting of Jens Viktor Nørgaard, Partner, European Patent Attorney and Head of HØIBERG’s life science team, and Charlotta Dahlborg, Patent Attorney and Business Developer for the Stockholm office, will form the core of the new Stockholm office staff, with support from other attorneys from HØIBERG’s large and highly trained life science/medtech group.
Jens Viktor holds a PhD in forest genetics and biochemistry from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, and conducted his Master Thesis Project at Uppsala University. Jens Viktor is one of HØIBERG’s most experienced patent attorneys, with several years spent as Director of IPR at two biotech companies in Copenhagen.
Charlotta holds a PhD from Karolinska Institutet in Medical Science with a special focus on Intellectual Property Rights, and has a broad experience from the Swedish Life Science and startup community.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for HØIBERG – we take special interest in facilitating the path from complex scientific findings to establishment of new firms and getting innovative health solutions to the market; and Karolinska Institutet is world renown for great science – we look forward to interacting with the great minds in Stockholm” says Pernille W. Gojkovic, CEO of HØIBERG.
“We are extremely pleased and grateful to have been invited to open our third Swedish office at Innomedicum, which will better enable us to provide our high quality services to new and existing clients in the Greater Stockholm area”, says Peter Holm, HØIBERG’s country manager for Sweden.
If you are a patent attorney and would like to be part of our new venture, we are already looking to expand our team locally in Stockholm. Please reach out to Jens Viktor Nørgaard at jvn@hoiberg.com.
