Jens Jørgen counsels as a European Patent Attorney within High-Tech including mechanical engineering, wind energy, heating and cooling engineering and control systems. Jens Jørgen joined HØIBERG in 2023, and has been working with IP since 1997. Jens Jørgen became European Patent Attorney in 2002 and has a background in thermal energy engineering and fluid mechanics.
Jens Jørgen’s clients come from a broad range within the mechanical engineering field, including renewable energy, heating and cooling technology and system control. Jens Jørgen has experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications, Freedom-To-Operate analyses, patent infringement assessments, oppositions and patent litigation.
Jens Jørgen has a master’s degree in thermal energy engineering from Aalborg University, is Diploma Course Member (Hons.) from von Karman Institute and holds a Ph.D. degree in fluid mechanics from Denmark Technical University, focusing on turbulence modelling.
After completing his Ph.D., Jens Jørgen has been employed as patent attorney in private practice since 1997. Jens Jørgen has assisted clients in patent litigation, mainly before Danish courts and acts as court-appointed technical specialist before the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court.
