Lea counsels within Life Science including molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry. She joined HØIBERG in 2022. Lea has a background in molecular biology and neuroscience.

Lea has a wide experience in several types of patent related counselling, including patent strategies, prosecution of patent applications, and freedom to operate.

Lea has a Master’s degree in Molecular Life Science from the University of Lübeck (Germany) and a PhD degree from Karolinska Institutet (Sweden). During her Master degree, she obtained extensive knowledge within molecular cell and structural biology. In her PhD, she worked with several techniques, including synthetic biology tools like click-chemistry, genetic engineering and various cell cultures from primary neurons to cerebral organoids.
