Mads counsels as a European Patent Attorney on a number of fields within High-Tech including mechanical, automation, mechatronics and electronics engineering. Mads joined HØIBERG in 2023, and has been working with IP since 2007. Mads has a background in electronics engineering.

Mads’ clients range from large size companies to SMEs within primarily mechanical, automation and mechatronics engineering. Mads counsels among others within novelty searches, patent drafting and prosecution, and patent strategy. Mads has thorough experience within setting up and handling individually designed patent monitoring solutions. Mads is responsible for the day-to-day running of HØIBERG’s office located in Aarhus.

Mads has a degree in Electronics engineering focusing on automation engineering, and is moreover educated electrician.

After completing the degree in Electronics engineering, Mads was employed as a patent attorney in 2007. Mads has worked full time as a patent attorney for two other Danish patent firms from 2007 to 2014, and from 2014-2023, respectively. During this period, Mads also acted as an inhouse patent counsel in a larger, Danish High-Tech company, where he assisted in establishing and maturing internal IP strategies and IP awareness.
