Pere counsels within Life Science and Green technology including chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and material science. Pere joined HØIBERG in 2021, and has experience in medicinal chemistry, protein and polymer chemistry, and drug delivery systems.
Pere’s clients are focused on developing cutting-edge therapeutics, formulations of pharmaceuticals, clinical trial related inventions, and the development of new materials and processes in the chemical industry. They range from early-stage start-up companies to publicly traded companies. Pere has experience in all types of patent counseling, including patent portfolio strategy, life cycle management, and due diligence, patent drafting, prosecution in multiple jurisdictions, patentability analysis, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis.
Across 7 years of academic research, Pere has worked on strategies to improve therapeutics including prodrug development; drug formulation systems, like polymeric nanoparticles, liposomes, and modified release systems; antibody-drug conjugates; and synthetic receptors. He has had firsthand experience in the synthesis and characterization of materials up biological studies in cell-based assays. This gives Pere relevant experience across the preclinical space and an understanding of the development value chain in life sciences.
