Pernille leads HØIBERG as Chief Executive Officer. She is primary contact for several of HØIBERGs public sector clients and counsels as a European Patent Attorney within the life science field. Pernille joined HØIBERG in 2005, became partner in 2008, and CEO in 2015. Pernille holds an MBA, and has a background in biology.
Pernille is a seasoned IP strategist and has specialized in servicing university technology transfer offices and other public sector clients. She has extensive experience in value creation and early stage innovation management from idea to initial investments and how to address the IP needs of spin-outs and investors alike. Pernille is an enthusiastic speaker on all things related to IP, and participates in IP courses at several universities and student organizations.
Pernille has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. degree in biology and molecular biology from the University of Copenhagen, focusing on genetics, cell biology and signal transduction.
Pernille is also a European Patent Attorney, Certified Danish Patent Attorney and holds an executive MBA.
After completing her PhD, Pernille was employed for a couple of years as an assistant professor at the University of Copenhagen, working with signal transduction, cell biology and genetics.
