Sarah counsels within Life Sciences including pharmacology, molecular biology, biotechnology and medicine. Sarah joined HØIBERG in 2022 and is based in the Stockholm office. Her background is in physiology, pharmacology and clinical drug development.
Sarah works with a range of clients, from early startups to medium-sized companies primarily in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. She has wide experience in all types of patent-related counselling, including patent strategies, prosecution of patent applications, due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Sarah graduated from the Karolinska Institute with a PhD in Medical Sciences in 2022. Her translational projects spanned from experimental pre-clinical research to clinical trials, including complex in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo models. Prior to this, Sarah graduated from Imperial College London with a Distinction in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Research. Her projects focused on transcriptional and epigenetic control of endothelial homeostasis and Ras-related signalling in vascular inflammation.
