Trine counsels as a European Patent Attorney within High-Tech fields including renewable energy applications, power-to-X, medical devices, and processes for the food and beverage industry. Trine has been working with IP since she joined HØIBERG in 2014. She has a background in solid state chemistry and applied electrochemistry.

Trine’s clients range from individual inventors and innovative start-up companies to universities and medium- and large-sized companies. She has experience in all types of patent related counselling, including patent strategies, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, due diligence, and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Trine has a Master’s degree in geology from Aarhus University and a PhD degree in chemistry from the Technical University of Denmark. Her PhD was partly carried at Topsoe Fuel Cells (Haldor Topsøe) as an Industrial PhD, where she acquired diverse experience in materials characterization and processing of inorganic materials.

Prior to joining HØIBERG, Trine worked 9 years as a scientist and project manager at the Technical University of Denmark (Risø), where she worked on developing solid oxide cells for energy conversion.
