Peter is a European Patent Attorney and Country Manager for Sweden. He counsels within all areas of the life science field. Peter joined HØIBERG in 2006, and became partner in 2014. He has a background in biochemistry and biophysics.

Peter’s clients are mainly startups and SMEs within the life science field. Peter is an expert on IP centered commercialization strategies and patent prosecution within all life science fields. Peter also has long experience in assisting clients in business development, and with IP Due Diligence procedures in connection with financing and pharma mergers, acquisitions and license agreements. Peter is an appreciated lecturer in patent law and IP strategy at major universities in Scandinavia.

Peter has a PhD degree in biochemistry and biophysics from Karolinska Institutet and an MSc degree in chemistry from Linköping University. During his education, Peter worked within the fields of protein chemistry and enzymology, cryo electron microscopy, x-ray crystallography, and image processing. After completing his PhD, Peter worked as a postdoc at Aarhus University.
